System of green areas and perception of quality of life in the city of Sousa - PB

Urban green spaces which many consider to be an important element of the quality life (QV) urban environment, still have a nebulous assessment by their subjectivity. This study examines perception society about associated with system areas and trees focus on city Sousa-PB, Brazil. For this, we sought examine areas, size, aspects, and, together, because residents city. Rating documentaries’ cartographic iconographic field evaluation questionnaires were used. As result, Sousa meets its indices vegetation below minimum suggested SBAU. Regarding agreement as definitions life, it was found that elements: good relationships, services, infrastructure, provision employment workplace also healthier pleasant indicate there is consensus among people these aspects represent life.
